Ve-Linda Silva is a highly skilled clinician with a diverse background in psychology and substance abuse counseling. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University.  Ve-Linda brings a rich understanding of cultural diversity to her practice, specializing in providing inclusive and compassionate care to individuals from various backgrounds.

 

Ve-Linda is particularly passionate about supporting young women and LGBTQ+ individuals who have experienced trauma. She fosters a safe and affirming environment for clients to explore their mental health and recovery journeys, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. Her holistic approach is designed to address the unique needs of each client, ensuring they receive the support necessary to achieve lasting recovery and well-being.

 

With experience in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, in-home adolescent therapy, and community health organizations, Ve-Linda’s diverse skill set allows her to effectively address the complex intersection of addiction, mental health, and cultural identity. Her work is rooted in empathy and a deep respect for the lived experiences of her clients, empowering them to build resilience and embrace positive change.

 

Outside of her clinical work, Ve-Linda is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and actively participates in initiatives that reduce the stigma surrounding addiction, mental illness, and issues impacting the LGBTQ+ community. In her free time, she enjoys writing, spending time outdoors, and exploring new adventures with her daughter.
